1. How does a manager motivate employees who have “topped out” at their current grade?
2. How would you counsel an employee during the promotion process, when their performance is very good but their position lacks duties and responsibilities commensurate with the next grade level?
3. Give an example of a particular challenging employee performance or conduct issue you have faced, and tell us how you handled it. What were the results, and how would you handle it next time.
4. Why do you believe you are the most qualified person for this position? What is it about this job that appeals to you?
